Hockway has enjoyed significant growth over the last couple of years as a highly successful engineer and manufacturer of asset integrity systems for the oil and gas industry. We are now poised to expand even further and treble our turnover in the next three years.
Our product diversification and further expansion in the Middle East and other key oil and gas regions will create outstanding opportunities and rewards for candidates with the skills, experience and talent.
We are looking for a projects or engineering professional who can operate at a strategic level, taking responsibility for our full schedule of all post-award activities, managing the client interface and aggregating all of the company’s projects to maximise the company’s performance.
Essential qualities:
• Experience of working in multi-functional EPC projects or production management
• Experience of leading, managing and motivating a team effectively within a pressurised, changing work environment
• The ability to work as part of the wider Senior Management Team
• International oil and gas industry experience gained with an operator, contractor or equipment manufacturer.
Desirable qualities:
• An engineering background is preferred but commercial orientated project management experience will also be considered
• Experience of executing projects efficiently to meet clients’ expectations
• Project and contract management experience
• The ability to understand the balance between customer satisfaction and the company’s well being
• A knowledge of the EPC process and an understanding of the interface between operators, contractors and suppliers
• A knowledge of asset integrity would be an advantage
• An appreciation of the commercial aspects of project management including bank guarantees, letters of credit and foreign exchange management
• An engineering degree or equivalent in an appropriate professional or management qualification
