Hockway has enjoyed significant growth over the last couple of years as a highly successful engineer and manufacturer of asset integrity systems for the oil and gas industry. We are now poised to expand even further and treble our turnover in the next three years.

We are seeking an outstanding finance professional to have overall responsibility for the financial management of the Hockway group of companies. You will work closely with the CEO in the formulation of financial strategy and lead the financial and commercial function through the upgrading of the management system.
Essential qualities:
• An accountancy qualification; ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• To be able to work with the CEO, through the provision of accurate financial reporting, on financing strategy and mergers, whilst minimising financing costs
• The ability to work as part of the wider Senior Management Team
• Good working knowledge of computerised accounting software and management systems (preferably Dynamics AX).
Desirable qualities:
• Experience of either, contracting, engineering or manufacturing within the oil and gas business is preferred
• Involvement in, or a knowledge of mergers and acquisitions would be a benefit
• To be able to maintain banking relationships and to be able to identify new sources of finance
• Previous experience of the Middle East
• Treasury and Foreign Exchange management experience at a senior level
• To understand fully financing costs
• Experience of managing and motivating a team effectively within a pressurised, changing work environment
• The ability to prioritise tasks, produce accurate work and meet tight deadlines
• Managing the company’s cash flow
• To be responsible for the company’s tax issues.
